Search for 2024 The Outstanding PERAA Members
Dear Participating Institution,
PERAA’s search for 2024 Outstanding PERAA Members (TOPM) is now officially open. This Search was established to recognize teachers and non-academic personnel with outstanding qualities and contributions in their respective schools and communities.
We have four (4) categories:

Academic Head |
Full-time permanent employees with management and leadership functions |
|
Administrative Head |
Full-time permanent employees with administrative and coordinative functions |
|
Full-time Teacher |
Full-time permanent teachers, instructors, and professors |
|
Administrative Staff |
Full-time administrative support staff or rank and file employees. |
Cash prizes and plaques await the winners. On top of it all, TOPM winners gain national recognition and will be acknowledged by other prestigious Search for outstanding teachers. We will also provide for transportation, accommodation and per diem for the finalists and winners during the final screening and the awarding ceremonies.
The TOPM Search, now on its 31st year, will continue to reward first time Institutions joining the search. One (1) Laptop will be raffled off for first time Participating Institutions whose nominee makes it as a finalist.
We, therefore, encourage you to nominate four (4) candidates, one (1) for each category. Enclosed is the Acknowledgment Receipt and we are hoping to receive this form back with your four (4) nominees not later than July 31, 2023. We are also enclosing the Guidelines and Mechanics for your reference.
Deadline for submission of Official Nomination Forms and supporting documents will be on January 12, 2024.
The winners for each category will receive a cash prize of: First - ? 25,000; Second - ? 20,000; Third - ? 15,000. Aside from the cash prize, each TOPM awardee will receive a plaque and will be included on a full-page newspaper ad display with national circulation. Participating Institutions or the Employer will be given a special plaque of appreciation. All airfares and accommodation including meals will be provided by PERAA and will allot a reasonable amount for allowances for each of the finalists from interview to awarding.
The awarding ceremonies will be held on PERAA’s 52nd Anniversary/Annual Meeting in 2024. Details to be announced at a later date.
